PROJECT DESIGN BRIEF:

“Kneale” is one of our in-house developments, set on a highly elevated site with breathtaking northern views of the Brisbane city skyline. This three-level home, designed to maximise its elevated position, sits on a steeply sloping block and features an open-plan living layout that enhances the connection between the interiors and the landscape.

A key highlight of the design is the centrally positioned courtyard, which provides a seamless link to the surrounding landscaping, offering a tranquil retreat. The house boasts a suspended slab structure, heavyweight block wall construction, and an out-of-ground pool, adding to its robust and striking presence. The warm material palette complements the contemporary aesthetic while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere throughout the home.

CHALLENGES & ACHIEVEMENTS:

Building on a steeply rear-sloping site presented significant logistical challenges. These were overcome through meticulous project scheduling and strong coordination, ensuring each phase of the construction process ran smoothly. Access to the site via a tricky street location also required careful planning to effectively manage deliveries and site traffic.

Despite the complexities, the project was completed with exceptional attention to detail, highlighted by the warm material palette and thoughtfully designed landscape package. This meticulous craftsmanship contributed to the property setting a suburb record sale, further underscoring its value and appeal in the market.
